SAORI NAGASAKA

Saori Nagasaka was born in 1990 in Nagoya, Japan.
She entered the Toho Gakuen school of music in Tokyo in a class by Kenji Kobayashi, in Toho Gakuen university under the instruction of Takumi Kubota and later on with Sachika Mizuno.
After graduating Toho Gakuen University, she moved to Germany and studying at the University of Music, Cologne with Michael Vaiman.
She was a finalist at the Japan classic music competition (2007)
In 2010, She won the special prize such as Jury prize at Tokyo International Association of Artists competition. In 2011, she received incentive award at KOBE international music competition.
In 2012 she played Tchaikovsky's violin concert with Central Aichi String Orchestra in Munetsugu Hall.
In 2013 she gave her first solo Recital in Nagoya sponsored by ON music project.
She has won the 2nd prize at the " Musical Summer" International Music Competition 2014(Spain) and received Diploma awarded by "Vayman ART", also won 3rd prize at the Brigitte-Kempen-competition 2014 (Germany)
In 2015 she received a scholarship to join the bergische symphonic Orchestra as an academist. Furthermore she is a member of the junge Philharmonie Cologne.
She is also active in participating in various music festivals and has been performing at various concerts.
