Emanuel Rimoldi was born in Milan in 1986 and he is currently studying at Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow with Elisso Virsaladze: admitted to her class in 2009, in 2013 he obtained Postgraduate course under her guidance. Before that, he had studied piano and composition at “G.Verdi “ Conservatory of Milan with Maestros Risaliti and Balzani, receiving his Bachelor’s and Master Degree “Magna Cum Laude”.
He was awarded at the international piano competition “Pozzoli” of Seregno (Italy) in 2011 and he won the 1st prize at the international piano competition of Cantù (Italy)in 2013.
He has won the 1st prize at the 2013 edition of the International piano competition “Top of the World” in Tromso (Norway).
He has collected enthusiastic acclaim for his concert activity in Italy and in European capitals, and excellent reviews on the pages of Suddeutsche zeitung the Leipziger Volkszeitung and Daily Music : In Moscow, he has made his name with a series of concerts, including a recital at Malii Hall of Tchaikovsky Conservatory, shared with Elisso Virsaladze , at the auditorium Verdi and at the big hall of the conservatory Verdi of Milan, at the kammer musik festival and the Gasteig of Munich broadcasting radio ARD , at the opera of Rome, teatro sociale of Como, at the philarmony of Luxembourg , Cortot hall in Paris , Steinway hall in London , Glazunov Hall in Saint Petersburg , philarmony of Kastromà ( Russia ), at Chosse Belvedere in Weimar and in the beginning of 2014 he debut at the Gewandhaus of Leipzig broadcast by radio MDR and by European Broadcasting Union.
His commitments already scheduled for 2014 are: concerts and masterclasses in Norway, a series of concerts in Germany for the Steinway , at the Pushkin museum in Moscow, and to the International Chopin piano festival in Duszniki Zdroj ( Poland).
